Twilight Flow's Origins

Twilight Flow was born from a desire to create something truly unique, a space that weaves together multiple art forms, passions, and lived experiences. This offering brings together years of experience in the fitness, yoga, and community, alongside a lifelong love of music and a deep connection to nature.

The musicians who accompany each session are dear friends, creative partners, and core members of this journey. Their presence, their intuition, and their artistry are at the heart of the experience. They move with the class, shaping sound in real time, in response to what’s unfolding in the space.

Twilight Flow has become a container for everything I love. Movement in all its forms. Live music and shared creativity. Nature, golden hour light, and grounded community connection. It’s a place where we bring all of ourselves, and invite others to do the same.

Sound Immersion

Sound is one of the oldest healing tools we have, and it’s used for centuries across cultures to restore balance, calm the mind, and soothe the soul, sound has always been medicine.

Modern research is catching up to what ancient traditions have always known: sound impacts our biology.

  • Your body is vibration. From your heartbeat to your breath, your brainwaves to your cells, every part of you pulses with frequency. Instruments like singing bowls emit stable, calming vibrations that can help “re-tune’’ your system, like tuning a musical instrument back into harmony.

  • Certain tones help shift your brain into alpha and theta states; the same states linked to deep meditation, calm, and emotional processing.

  • When your body hears soothing, rhythmic sound, it responds by slowing your heart rate, calming your breath, and reducing stress hormones, bringing you into a parasympathetic (rest and digest) state.

Tibetan singing bowls, chanting, gongs, and rhythmic drums have been used for thousands of years in, Tibetan Buddhism to deepen meditation and clear energetic blocks, Hindu traditions for chakra balancing and mantra and other Indigenous cultures to carry story, spirit, and connection to land.

We hope to honour these roots in our sessions by offering sound as a space and opportunity to soften, to listen inward, and maybe, to give yourself the chance to reconnect with something deeper. Whether that’s rest, release, or simply presence, the sound will meet you there.

Some people cry. Some sleep. Some feel deeply moved or just calm. Some may even feel bored. That’s the beauty of this, there is no right experience. There’s just space for you to listen, feel, and be.

If you’re sceptical, you’re welcome. If you’re curious, you’re ready. If you just want to lie in a space full of beautiful live sounds, breathe and relax, you’re in the right place.
